At the Ligna 2015 in hall 27, booth J27, battenfeld-cincinnati will present its high-performance technologies, compact lines for hollow profiles and flexible, customized coextrusion solutions and concepts to manufacture solid profiles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

battenfeld-cincinnati\u2019s product portfolio includes customized solutions to fit every specific application in the WPC\/NFC industry. The fiberEX extruder series is perfectly geared to meeting the require- ments of WPC\/NFC materials, the extrusion lines are completed by downstream components to match. The latest new development is the fiberEX 93-34D extruder, which is extremely economical in operation and capable of processing a great variety of different formulations with a single plasticizing unit.<\/p>\n

The new fiberEX 93-34D extruder is particularly suited for medium- output applications (up to 400 kg\/h). Shown in the picture: the fi- berEX 93-34D in line configuration. – Zoom<\/a> –<\/figcaption><\/figure>During a demonstration at the international AMI WPC Conference in Vienna<\/a> in November 2014, battenfeld-cincinnati showed a complete line with a fiberEX 93\u201334D extruder, which reached an output of 380 kg\/h \u2013 a performance absolutely comparable with out- puts in PVC profile production. On this line, a hollow WPC profile for decking applications was manufactured from PVC with a 50% content of rice husks.<\/p>\n

As material costs amount to up to 80% of the total production costs, battenfeld-cincinnati offers a great variety of coextrusion concepts, which can be adapted to the use of low-cost filler materials such as rice husks, mineral fillers or recycled fibers.<\/p>\n
