Now, this innovative fiber is available in the in the all-new F-150.\u00a0By\u00a0substituting with this\u00a0recycled\u00a0material, Ford\u00a0will divert more than\u00a0five million plastic bottles\u00a0from landfills this year.<\/p>\n<p>Ford is the only automaker to use REPREVE, made from 100 percent\u00a0recycled materials\u00a0including plastic\u00a0bottles,\u00a0in its vehicles.\u00a0Ford is currently\u00a0using REPREVE in\u00a0five vehicles around the world, making it a truly global material, and\u00a0it represents Ford&#8217;s larger\u00a0commitment\u00a0to reduce, reuse and recycle as part of the company\u2019s global sustainability strategy to lessen its environmental footprint.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy using REPREVE in the all-new Ford F-150, we are reconfirming our commitment to using renewable and recyclable materials in our vehicles,\u201d said Carol Kordich, lead designer, global sustainability materials strategy development. \u201cWe are always looking for ways to incorporate more innovative and sustainable materials into our vehicles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>About Ford Motor Company<\/h3>\n<p>Ford Motor Company, a global automotive industry leader based in Dearborn, Michigan, manufactures or distributes automobiles across six continents.
