The production will take place on StexFibers Industrial Park Kleefsewaard in Arnhem, where the company maintains offices in the Greenhouse. The cultivation of hemp and the processing to textiles require no chemicals and only 5 percent water compared to cotton. After processing the hemp bast fiber offers a promising addition to the usual assortment of textiles and natural fibers.

Durable

Farming of hemp yields in Europe to a regional and sustainable production of raw materials for new green manufacturing. During cultivation does not require irrigation or crop protectants. For crop maximization may suffice with a small amount of art and cow manure. With a view to reducing CO2 emissions observes Brussels hemp as a raw material for greening the manufacturing industry .

Biobased Economy

For realization of the Sustainable Fibers Project Panta Nova organizes arable excessive production of the necessary hemp StexFibers edit the bast fibers, after Texperium spins yarns of produced stexvezels. This immediately put the tone for the Green Deal Natural Fibers, which is expected to be signed this year. To this end, facilitate the Ministries of Economy and Infrastructure & Environment on behalf of the government four natural fibers pilots with fifteen companies.
