CEN draft standard prEN 16785 “Bio-based products – Determination of the biobased content using radiocarbon dating and element analysis’ prepared. Dutch parties can submit comments until 11 January 2015. After publication, the European Standard adopted as the Dutch norm. This draft standard is about the determination of the bio-based content (bio-based products) using carbon dating and elemental analysis. The method described in the standard condition, should enable to show what the biobased content of their products. Clear to producers from bio-based products Parties who want to verify this, with this method a very useful and unique tool in the hands.<\/p>\n
From the Dutch standards committee 310 031 Bio-based products’ is a number of stakeholders from the Dutch business directly involved in the development of these standards. Through these standards committee the Dutch comments on the draft standards for bio-based products is provided. All interested parties wishing to participate in the development of or to say in these European standards, can join these standards committee.<\/p>\n
Submit comments on prEN 16785 is available until 11 January 2015 The submitted comments are discussed by the Dutch standards committee and, if possible, submitted in the European standard development process.
