{"id":20935,"date":"2014-06-13T03:06:51","date_gmt":"2014-06-13T01:06:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/?p=20935"},"modified":"2014-06-12T14:32:24","modified_gmt":"2014-06-12T12:32:24","slug":"bdc-capital-grant-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/bdc-capital-grant-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"BDC Capital Grant Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Biorenewables Capital Grants Scheme (BCGS), part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), aims to drive innovation and new economic activity by supporting local businesses working with bio-based materials (including plant, food or feed wastes) to invest in capital equipment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The BCGS is a great opportunity for eligible SMEs to buy key pieces of equipment to undertake an innovative proof of concept bio-based project. The grant can award funding for 64% of a project; so you could receive up to \u00a332,000 towards a \u00a350,000 piece of equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Typical projects will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>support the use of biobased materials (such as wood, plant-matter, food waste, paper, textiles, plant-based chemicals etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>represent an original approach to working with these materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>contribute to new products, services and\/or jobs for your business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The BCGS will be delivered in three competitive calls throughout 2014 and expects to support 26 projects.
