A product established already in the rigid packaging market \u2013 the coffee capsule made of compostable bioplastic \u2013 was showcased in several versions by different companies. It represents a great example of the suitability of bioplastic for injection moulding processing.<\/p>\n<p>On the busiest days of the interpack European Bioplastics offered a stage programme with 4-6 presentations daily covering topics such as \u201cend-of-life\u201d, \u201cenvironmental claims for bioplastics\u201d and, \u201cproduct innovations\u201d. The interested crowd jammed the corridor next to the booth of European Bioplastics.<\/p>\n<p>Following the demand for further information updates on bioplastic solutions, European Bioplastics will be exhibiting at \u201cGreen Week\u201d in Brussels on 3-5 June. Hasso von Pogrell adds: \u201cPlastic manufacturers, converters, and users should also not miss out on our 9th European Bioplastics Conference \u2013 the leading bioplastics event in Europe covering the entire value chain.\u201d The annual European Bioplastics Conference attracts about 400 visitors from all around the world.
