An ADL helps acquire and distribute liquid away from the surface, making moisture management and dryness critical to product performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Woolchemy says neweFlex can provide fast liquid acquisition, low rewet, breathability, thermal regulation, and odor control. Independent testing cited by the company found that products using the material maintained a warmer and more stable microclimate with 10% lower humidity than a polypropylene alternative. Another study found surfaces were three to 14 times drier than those using other biobased alternatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lenzing\u2019s VEOCEL\u2122 Lyocell fibers are derived from renewable wood sources and are designed for nonwoven applications. Its Lyocell Dry technology provides liquid-controlling properties for applications including diapers and sanitary pads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collaboration comes as Woolchemy moves its wool-based hygiene technology toward wider commercial production.
