This year&#8217;s edition puts the spotlight on measurable progress across Europe&#8217;s bio-based industries: from next-generation biorefineries to novel sustainable materials entering the market. &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2014, CBE JU has driven bio-based innovation across Europe by supporting 243 projects involving 1,860 participants from 46 countries. SMEs represent 38% of all participants, while universities and research organisations account for 24%, demonstrating the partnership&#8217;s broad and diverse innovation ecosystem as well as its role in technology transfer and scale-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The numbers tell a compelling story: more than \u20ac1.45 billion in investment has been mobilised, with every \u20ac1 of EU funding attracting \u20ac3.65 in private investment.
