Strengthening of Import Controls<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To prevent non-compliant products from entering the EU, the draft stipulates that imported products containing recycled plastics&nbsp;(particularly PET materials, bottles, sheets, tableware, and kitchenware)&nbsp;must be accompanied by the corresponding DoCs upon application for release for free circulation at customs. The annex to the draft explicitly defines the Combined Nomenclature&nbsp;(CN)&nbsp;codes for these targeted products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Digital Transformation of the Registration System<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The EU\u2019s current public register model will be replaced by a non-public electronic registry accessible specifically to competent authorities and operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The registration statuses for decontamination installations have been significantly expanded and clarified into seven specific categories: \u2018newly registered\u2019, \u2018being established\u2019, \u2018active\u2019, \u2018inactive\u2019, \u2018suspended\u2019, \u2018audit pending\u2019, and \u2018decommissioned\u2019. This categorization reflects various scenarios across the full lifecycle of the facilities, thereby enhancing regulatory transparency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.
