The international plastics and rubber trade fair set a new record with 350,189 trade visitors. Compared with Chinaplas 2025 in Shenzhen, attendance increased by 24.5 percent. A total of 86,440 visitors from these regions were registered, representing an increase of 26.1 percent compared with the previous event in Shenzhen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition featured more than 3,800 machines and systems operating live, along with products and services from over 1,900 raw material suppliers. Around 350 companies presented technologies either for the first time worldwide or for the first time in Asia. In addition to international corporations, more than 1,000 specialized Chinese companies participated, including nearly 200 so-called \u201cLittle Giant\u201d enterprises, which are classified by the Chinese government as particularly innovative small and medium-sized businesses.<br><br>The event was held under the theme \u201cTransformation \u00b7 Collaboration \u00b7 Sustainability.\u201d Key focus areas included the circular economy, digitalization, innovative materials, and advanced technologies. Exhibits included modern injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming equipment, as well as AI-supported production systems, intelligent recycling technologies, and solutions for automated manufacturing processes.<br><br>On the materials side, exhibitors showcased high-performance films, flame-retardant polypropylene compounds, polyolefin elastomers (POE), PFAS-free materials, bio-based materials, and high-quality recycled materials. In addition, companies presented materials and processing technologies for future-oriented markets such as humanoid robotics, AI data centers, the so-called low-altitude economy, and new energy applications. Examples included long-chain polyamides, carbon-fiber-reinforced composites, polyurethane potting compounds, and PEEK.<br><br>Numerous technical events were held alongside the exhibition, including \u201cThe Power of Plastics Forum,\u201d the \u201cAdditives Seminar,\u201d \u201cTech Talk,\u201d \u201cMedical Plastics Connect,\u201d \u201cInnoAccelerate,\u201d and \u201cApplications in Focus.\u201d These programs addressed current market trends, sustainability, digitalization, and emerging application fields.<br><br>According to organizer Adsale Exhibition Services, Chinaplas is increasingly evolving from a traditional sourcing and trading platform into an international innovation and cooperation forum for the plastics and rubber industry.<br><br>The next Chinaplas will take place from April 13 to 16, 2027, at the Shenzhen World Exhibition &amp; Convention Center.
