BlueAlp and LBC Tank Terminals have been awarded a \u20ac1.5 million grant from the European Union\u2019s Just Transition Fund (JTF) through the JTF Rijnmond program to support the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase of their planned large-scale chemical recycling plant in the Rotterdam region.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FEED study will cover technical feasibility, detailed engineering, logistics, site implementation, terminal integration, permitting and financing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Europe\u2019s largest tank storage operator for pyrolysis oil, LBC provides direct access to critical infrastructure within the Port of Rotterdam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-locating BlueAlp\u2019s chemical recycling process plant at LBC\u2019s existing terminal site is expected to create significant synergies, including heat integration and transport optimization, further reducing CO\u2082 emissions and strengthening project economics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EU Just Transition Fund supports regions in accelerating the transition toward climate neutrality by fostering sustainable industrial development, innovation and investment, in line with EU Cohesion Policy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
