Valmet and Linde, a leading global industrial gases and engineering company, have announced a collaboration to integrate, optimize and offer electrically driven carbon capture solutions for the pulp and paper industry. The collaboration combines Linde\u2019s HISORP\u00ae CC CO\u2082 capture technology with Valmet\u2019s strong integration capabilities and deep process expertise in pulp and paper production.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The joint offering supports pulp and paper producers in reducing their carbon footprint by enabling efficient CO\u2082 separation without the need for steam or other thermal energy. This makes carbon capture particularly suitable for mills with limited excess heat availability and increasing electrification requirements, while allowing flexible integration into existing mill operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
