The material consists of 72% bio-based nylon derived from non-food-grade industrial corn and 28% elastane containing approximately 70% plant-based content from Hyosung TNC. Bio-based content was verified using ASTM D6866 methodology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fabric is engineered to match conventional&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/worldbiomarketinsights.com\/pangaia-launches-activewear-made-from-biobased-materials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">activewear performance<\/a>&nbsp;while shifting to renewable material sources. It features a double-knit structure designed for stretch, recovery, and breathability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PANGAIA also includes pieces made from 100% Global Recycling Standard-certified recycled nylon as part of the capsule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collection incorporates HeiQ Cool technology for thermal regulation. This treatment uses a bio-based polymer derived from vegetable oil and contains over 50% USDA certified bio-based content. It provides contact and evaporative cooling without paraffins, melamine, or formaldehyde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For odor control, garments are treated with HeiQ Mint, a plant-based system using natural mint essential oils.
