Primient, a global leader in biomanufacturing and plant-based ingredients, announced today the creation of a new Biosolutions business unit to accelerate growth in differentiated, high-value bio-based solutions for customers and innovators.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, Primient has steadily expanded its role in the bioeconomy through strategic investments and partnerships that build on the company\u2019s long-standing corn wet-milling heritage. Recent milestones include the Sustainea co-location partnership in Lafayette, IN; the iPROOF venture taking shape alongside Primient\u2019s Decatur, IL facility; and the company\u2019s recent acquisition of its bio-PDO business<\/a> in Loudon, TN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Biosolutions business will focus on accelerating and scaling the commercialization of bio-based solutions, partnering with global biomanufacturing leaders as they move from proof-of-concept to full-scale production. As part of this evolution, Primient is moving from three product-focused businesses to four market-facing business units aligned to distinct customer needs and market drivers.
