Additional funding will support chemical sector projects led by Syensqo in Saint-Fons, Ineos at Lav\u00e9ra, and Eurolysine in Amiens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ccus-anchors-heavy-industry-transition\">CCUS Anchors Heavy Industry Transition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The program forms part of the broader France 2030 investment strategy and was awarded under the \u201cLarge Industrial Decarbonization Projects\u201d call for proposals. Eligible projects were required to exceed \u20ac20 million (~$23.7 million) in requested aid and fall within sectors covered by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/climate.ec.europa.eu\/eu-action\/carbon-markets\/eu-emissions-trading-system-eu-ets_en\">EU Emissions Trading System<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The four CCUS projects alone could capture more than 3 million tons of CO2 annually if delivered as planned.
