She supports the dissemination and communication activities of several EU-funded projects, where she turns complex scientific topics into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With her in-depth knowledge of renewable materials and her strong communication background, Svenja develops and implements tailored communication strategies that help clients and project partners increase visibility, foster stakeholder engagement, and position their research effectively within industry, academia, and policy circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her role as communication expert, she prepares and distributes press releases, maintains and grows nova-Institute\u2019s social media presence, and ensures that scientific innovations reach the right target groups with the right tone. She is also part of the team promoting the&nbsp;CO\u2082-based Fuels and Chemicals Conference 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Background and expertise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Svenja studied Social Sciences at the University of Cologne, specialising in EU politics and social psychology, and spent a year abroad at Sciences Po Grenoble in France. While working at nova-Institute, she completed a part-time Master&#8217;s degree in Business Communication and Rhetoric at the University of Koblenz-Landau (2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through her participation in various EU research projects, she developed a strong interest in carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) technologies. Her master\u2019s thesis examined public acceptance of CO\u2082-based products and explored how sustainability aspects can be communicated most effectively to a broad audience \u2014 an expertise she now applies directly in her daily work with clients and partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When not working, Svenja enjoys travelling around Europe in her caravan, staying active through sports and dancing, and spending time with her family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Svenja Dahl, MA, joined nova-Institute in 2018 and is part of the Communication &amp; Marketing team.
