This milestone underscores Celanese\u2019s commitment to sustainability and innovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Advancing Lower-Carbon Solutions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This certification is the result of Celanese\u2019s major investment in Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) technology at its Clear Lake, Texas facility as a part of its Fairway Methanol joint venture with Mitsui &amp; Co., Ltd. &#8211; one of the world\u2019s largest active CCU plants.
