NG Nordic and SWIX have joined forces to develop\u202fhigh-performance winter sports equipment\u202fusing the world\u2019s first\u202fplastic made from CO\u2082 captured from waste incineration.\u202fThe development collaboration will start by\u202ftransforming captured carbon dioxide emissions into\u202fski wax boxes.\u202f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership brings together\u202fNG Nordic\u2019s pioneering Carbon2x technology, which converts captured CO\u2082 into sustainable raw materials, and\u202fSWIX\u2019s innovation leadership\u202fin high-performance, PFAS-free ski products. Together, the companies aim to redefine how materials are sourced and used in the outdoor sports industry \u2013 proving that climate-positive innovation can go hand in hand with durability,\u202ffunctionality,\u202fand world-class performance.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carbon <\/strong>dioxide turned into a new kind of material\u202f <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The new\u202fINGA CO\u2082-based plastic,\u202fdeveloped under NG Nordic\u2019s Carbon2x\u202fprogram,\u202fis a groundbreaking alternative to fossil-based plastics.\u202fThe\u202fINGA\u202fplastic is made using carbon dioxide that has been captured from waste incineration\u202f\u2013\u202ftransforming what would be emissions into valuable raw material.\u202fIt is high-quality, versatile, and suitable for a wide range of consumer products.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By using INGA plastic, the collaboration will make it possible to produce ski wax boxes that are not only durable and practical but also contribute to climate action\u202f\u2013\u202feffectively storing captured CO\u2082 in a circular product.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n
