This collaboration aims to develop a new value chain for low-carbon, bio-based acrylic resins by leveraging breakthrough proprietary technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Catalyxx&nbsp;<\/strong>is planning to<strong>&nbsp;build a first-of-its-kind industrial facility<\/strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<strong>produce bio-alcohols<\/strong>, including bio n-butanol, from bioethanol. These bio-alcohols, based on a patented technology validated at a demonstration plant in Seville, Spain, offer a significantly l<strong>ower carbon footprint compared to fossil-based alternatives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Arkema&nbsp;<\/strong>is evaluating the&nbsp;<strong>use of these bio-alcohols as feedstocks for the commercial-scale production of bio-based acrylic resins<\/strong>&nbsp;with lower carbon footprint. These resins will serve high-performance applications in coatings, adhesives for new energy solutions, e-mobility, living comfort, and sustainable infrastructure markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;This partnership is fully aligned with Arkema\u2019s strategy and ambition to deliver ever more sustainable solutions to our customers.
