It underscores the shared commitment of both parties to decarbonising heavy industry and advancing the growth of the hydrogen economy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThis agreement marks a major step forward in our mission to deliver industrial-scale green hydrogen solutions to Europe. The \u00c5land project will demonstrate both the scalability and cost competitiveness of our new system and also position \u00c5land as a hub of the Nordic hydrogen economy,\u201d\u00a0said\u00a0<strong>Marko Virkebau, CEO of Stargate Hydrogen<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>As the first step in the partnership, the companies will deliver a<strong>&nbsp;large-scale hydrogen<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>electrolyser in \u00c5land<\/strong>, powered by Stargate Hydrogen\u2019s new 10 MW Aurora&nbsp;<strong>electrolyser system module<\/strong>. Once operational, the project will:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Establish one of the&nbsp;<strong>largest hydrogen production assets in the Nordics<\/strong>;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilise the latest hydrogen technology, fully developed in Europe&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Position \u00c5land as a&nbsp;<strong>strategic energy hub<\/strong>&nbsp;for the Nordics&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the transformation of local society within both the local industry, roadside traffic, and shipping along the green corridors concept.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel, Stargate Hydrogen and OX2 will coordinate their participation in the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/h2springboard.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark>ABB-led H\u2082 Springboard program<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>, a national-scale hydrogen innovation initiative supported by over&nbsp;<strong>\u20ac150 million in R&amp;D investment<\/strong>. The parties will contribute technology, expertise, and infrastructure to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Co-develop&nbsp;<strong>modular hydrogen solutions<\/strong>&nbsp;with high export potential;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accelerate&nbsp;<strong>technology validation and partner engagement<\/strong>;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leverage public funding and innovation networks to&nbsp;<strong>reduce time-to-market<\/strong>&nbsp;and strengthen competitiveness.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAt OX2, we see renewable hydrogen as a key enabler of the energy transition.
