It has been commercialized and supplied to SALOMON for its amphibious shoes, demonstrating market potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FENC leverages its expertise to develop various recycled polyester (rPET) components, including shoe uppers, laces, linings, insoles, shanks, and toe caps. These components are designed as \u201csingle-material, fully recyclable,\u201d promoting circularity in footwear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond recycling waste PET, FENC has developed FENC\u00ae TopGreen\u00ae AirTek PU technology, which uses captured CO\u2082 as a raw material. This innovation produces high-performance, elastic materials without toxic chemicals like phosgene or isocyanates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared to conventional polyurethane, AirTek PU reduces carbon emissions by up to 58%, combining eco-friendliness with high functionality. It supports safer, low-carbon manufacturing processes in footwear and\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/worldbiomarketinsights.com\/tomtex-debuts-bio-based-textile-at-new-york-fashion-week\/\" target=\"_blank\">textiles<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FENC received the Second Prize at the \u201cBest CO\u2082 Utilisation 2025\u201d Innovation Award in Cologne, the first Asian company to do so. This recognition highlights the company\u2019s leadership in sustainable materials and bio-driven innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FENC continues to develop bio-based and low-carbon technologies.
