The new PLA is produced from food industry side streams \u2014 including bakery rejects and expired goods \u2014 transforming underutilized waste into high-performance bioplastics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cSupporting TripleW in the validation and scale-up of their lactic acid produced from food waste into PLA represents a unique milestone in PLA development history.
