Speakers will present the latest developments: Vito (BE), S\u00f6dra (SE), Fibenol (EE), Lignin Industries (SE) and Lixea Sweden (SE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The long conference day will end with the panel discussion&nbsp;<strong>The Future of Chemical Industry in Europe: Defossilised and Competitive, how this can work<\/strong>?, with panellists from: CEFIC (BE), European Commission DG GROW (BE), Mondi (AT\/UK), Blue Circle Olefins (NL), University of Twente (NL), BASF (DE), Godavari Biorefineries (IN), Change Chemistry (US)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The evening&#8217;s activities focus on networking opportunities, which will take place during the dinner buffet, and the long networking breaks throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>second day<\/strong>&nbsp;is fully dedicated to the topic&nbsp;<strong>\u201cFossil-free Plastics\u201d<\/strong>, yes to plastics, but plastics from renewable carbon only. One option are&nbsp;<strong>bio-based polymers<\/strong>, with speakers from: IKT University Stuttgart (DE), Avantium (NL), Zhongke Guosheng (CN), nova-Institute (DE), Novamont (IT), Corbion (NL), Futerro (BE), Cerdia (CH), UPM Biochemicals (DE\/FI), Borealis (AT) and INEOS (CH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second future options are&nbsp;<strong>CO<sub>2<\/sub>-based polymers<\/strong>, with speakers from: Vioneo (CH), NG Nordic (FI) and Econic (UK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The third and most important option is&nbsp;<strong>recycling<\/strong>, with speakers from: DITF (DE), Procter &amp; Gamble (BE\/US), University of Twente (NL) and Cargill (NL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An additional topic are&nbsp;<strong>sustainable polymers<\/strong>, with speakers from: Fraunhofer UMSICHT (DE), TNO (NL), Technip Energies (FR) and Johnson Matthey (UK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next highlight is the&nbsp;<strong>innovation award \u201cRenewable Material of the Year 2025<\/strong>\u201d, with following nominees: Bloom Biorenewables (CH), Borregaard (NO), Cyclize (DE), Sci-Lume Labs (US), Sustanix Materialtech (NL) and Trinseo (IT). There will be additional presentations from the earlier winner Askar Innovations (IN) and sponsor Covestro (DE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be another networking meeting point in the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>third and final day<\/strong>&nbsp;covers two different topics.
