Amongst our key innovations, we captively use 1,4 bio-butanediol (Bio-BDO), produced via fermentation from renewable feedstocks at the world\u2019s first industrial-scale plant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bio-BDO is a versatile intermediate used in biodegradable bioplastics (Mater-Bi\u00ae), thermoplastic polyurethanes, fibres, coatings, adhesives, and elastomers, contributing to the decarbonization of multiple industries.
