However, new survey research in Ernst &#038; Young\u2019s 27<sup>th<\/sup> annual biotechnology industry report <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ey.com\/Publication\/vwLUAssets\/Beyond_borders\/$FILE\/Beyond_borders.pdf\" >Beyond borders: matters of evidenceindicates<\/a> an &#8220;implementation gap\u201d at most small- to mid-size companies when it comes to gathering evidence to demonstrate the value of products under development.
