Provides a Corporate Update, Announces a Product Development Agreement and Issuance of Shares to a Service Provider"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>The Company continues to focus on the development of solutions for the production of high value co-products from waste gas, water and biomass  in the ethanol, municipal and agricultural markets with its Integrated Biogas Refinery<sup>TM<\/sup> (&#8220;IBR\u201d) platform. In addition, S4CO<sub>2<\/sub> has been developing its Bio-Extraction Process<sup>TM<\/sup> (&#8220;BEP\u201d) for the extraction of high value co-products from biomass, utilizing commercially available Supercritical Fluid Extraction (&#8220;SFE\u201d) technology.<\/p>\n<p>Integrated Biogas Refinery<sup>TM<\/sup> and Project Development Agreement<\/b><br \/>S4CO<sub>2<\/sub> will be presenting the IBR platform, which is nearing completion in New Brunswick, Canada, at the upcoming Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Conference scheduled for May 16-17, 2013 in San Francisco. S4CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u2019s IBR platform integrates an anaerobic digester with its proprietary Biogas Purifier and Infusion System<sup>TM<\/sup>, microalgae cultivation system and a harvesting, dewatering and oil extraction system to produce specialty algae oils targeted at the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical markets.<\/p>\n<p>The Company has entered into a project development agreement (&#8220;PDA\u201d) with Complete Senergy Systems (&#8220;CSS\u201d) and College Communitaire de Nouveau Brunswick (&#8220;CCNB\u201d).  CSS is an engineering company, with expertise in Anaerobic Digesters (&#8220;AD\u201d) in Atlantic Canada, that designs, fabricates and assembles commercial systems.  CCNB is an academic institution that operates the Biotechnology Scale-up Center, which provides technology validation and development services.  Pursuant to the PDA, the parties will jointly design, fabricate and integrate a commercial scale IBR with a conventional plug and flow AD on a dairy farm in Grand Falls New Brunswick.<\/p>\n<p>Further, CSS has agreed to receive common shares of S4CO<sub>2<\/sub> (&#8220;Shares\u201d) in respect of leased premises expenses totalling up to $100,000.  During the period from January to April, 2013, S4CO<sub>2<\/sub> will make monthly application to the TSXV for the issuance of the Shares, which will be issued at a minimum of $0.15 per share.  The TSXV has approved for issuance, 166,667 Shares at a deemed price of $0.15 per share, representing the January 2013, $25,000 payment to CSS.  The Shares issued are not subject to any hold period.<\/p>\n<p><b>Bio-Extraction Process<sup>TM<\/sup><\/b><br \/>The Company is also nearing completion of the Supercritical Fluid Extraction (&#8220;SFE\u201d) based platform to extract high value co-products from biomass. The Company is currently testing BEP to extract nutraceutical co-products such as Omega 3 fatty acids and Astaxanthin from the by-products of Northern cold water shrimp processing.  S4CO<sub>2<\/sub> is targeting the completion of development by the spring 2013 shrimp season off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador.<\/p>\n<p><b>Business Development<\/b><br \/>The Company\u2019s business model is to be a joint venture partner in waste-to high-value co-product projects and also sell projects on a design, build and operate basis.
