For the second consecutive year, the\u00a0Financial Times<\/em>, in collaboration with data provider Statista, has named Sekab one of Europe\u2019s Climate Leaders. The list highlights companies that have significantly reduced their greenhouse gas emissions and are transparent in their climate reporting.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Financial Times Europe\u2019s Climate Leaders 2025 list ranks 500 companies that achieved the greatest relative reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions between 2017 and 2022. The assessment also considers whether companies report Scope 3 emissions and collaborate with initiatives such as CDP and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sekab is one of the few companies in the European chemical industry working exclusively with biobased raw materials. In a sector where most chemicals are still produced from fossil resources, Sekab offers fossil-free alternatives that help industry players meet their climate targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sekab\u2019s fossil-free chemicals are used across a wide range of industrial sectors \u2013 from paint, plastics and pharmaceuticals to food and cosmetics. By providing biobased solutions for industry, Sekab contributes to reducing society\u2019s dependence on fossil raw materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
