The Competence Centre on Climate Change Mitigation in Energy-Intensive Industries (KEI)<\/a> conducts a survey on green lead markets and asks German industrial firms to share their opinion on the challenges and chances they experience in establishing a climate-friendly alternative to their conventional portfolio. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of their collaboration with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), KEI Think Tank conducts the survey on green lead markets (aka Gr\u00fcne Leitm\u00e4rkte in German) to identify the opportunities and challenges the German industry faces. With this survey, KEI Think Tank aims to gain a better understating of the industry\u2019s perspectives on establishing green lead markets in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The target group for the survey includes the German basic material industries, such as iron and steel, cement, chemical industry, paper, glass, ceramic, and non-iron metals like copper, aluminum and zinc. The potential industrial off-takers of such climate-friendly basic materials, such as the automobile industry, construction sector, and various processing industries, are also part of the target group for this survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes and will remain accessible until May 31, 2025. The survey is accessible here:\u00a0https:\/\/zug-survey.limequery.org\/perspektive_der_industrie<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results of the survey will be used to produce a policy brief as well as a scientific paper.
