The zero PCF is achieved by utilizing renewable energy in addition to the established <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.basf.com\/global\/en\/who-we-are\/sustainability\/we-drive-sustainable-solutions\/circular-economy\/mass-balance-approach\/biomass-balance\" target=\"_blank\">biomass balance approach (BMB)<\/a> in the production process at the Antwerp Verbund site.
