PLA has since been joined by many similar materials, and their use continues to increase.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>But a new revolution has begun: that of non-biodegradable bioplastics. A number of major players, such as Coca-Cola, are beginning to use plastic packaging that is derived &#8211; at least in part &#8211; from renewable resources.
