In December 2024,\u00a0Nordic SeaFarm\u00a0a leader in regenerative seaweed cultivation and\u00a0Future Lab and Partners\u00a0a new tech development company creating solutions for a circular economy came together and officially launched\u00a0Manatee Biomaterials. This collaboration will revolutionize the biomaterials industry by leveraging seaweed\u2019s potential to deliver durable and high-quality materials for diverse industries.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manatee Biomaterials<\/strong> will harness advanced technologies in aquaculture and biomaterial science to produce renewable materials that address critical global challenges like climate change, resource scarcity, and environmental degradation. With official projects already launched like ALLGEA together with Chalmers, Houdini and Mounid, Manatee is kickstarting 2025 and is building up a product portfolio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nordic SeaFarm<\/strong> brings its expertise in seaweed cultivation while Future Lab and Partners<\/strong> contribute cutting-edge research, innovation and system design in establishing new circular technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manatee Biomaterials offers seaweed as a material through bulk grades and fraction grades, as well as tailored formulations and applications together with development partners.
