The materials are the first commercially available bio-based pre-preg. A &#8220;Coral\u201d fire retardant variant will also soon be available for mass transport and aerospace applications.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>These materials provide not only comparable curing characteristics, thermal stability and mechanical performance to conventional epoxy based pre-pregs but also offer increased impact strength along with better water and chemical resistance.
