On the occasion of the French President\u2019s state visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, SUEZ and the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC) announce a new Framework Strategic Partnership to accelerate the implementation of collaborative projects to promote circularity in the country. This partnership reinforces SUEZ’s long-standing commitment to the SIRC and aims to develop key waste-to-energy infrastructures and bring top-tier waste treatment solutions for municipal waste, medical waste and hazardous waste to the Kingdom.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 for a circular economy, the SIRC is investing to tackle the pressing issue of waste management in the Kingdom to protect the environment and create value from waste. The SIRC has entered into a strategic partnership with SUEZ to capitalize on the group\u2019s historical expertise in the development of waste-to-energy infrastructures and in the management of municipal, hazardous and medical waste. The Framework Strategic Partnership also includes decarbonisation initiatives such as biochar production. Biochar, produced through the pyrolysis of biomass, supports sustainable waste management, carbon sequestration, and soil health improvement, aligning with the Kingdom’s low-carbon economy and climate goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
