The company elevates its presence in the region by signing a partnership with\u00a0VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>With an increasing number of large-scale industrial projects in Finland and a growing market for clean hydrogen, Stargate believes the region is poised to drive meaningful progress toward Europe\u2019s climate goals. \u201cFinland is quickly becoming a hub for green hydrogen projects,\u201d says <strong>Rainer K\u00fcngas, Chief Technology Officer at Stargate Hydrogen.<\/strong> \u201cWe see real potential here, not only for growth in\u00a0<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Green_hydrogen\" target=\"_blank\">green hydrogen<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0production but also for developing and testing innovative solutions for decarbonizing the hard-to-abate sectors.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>To further advance towards the region, Stargate signed a collaboration agreement with VTT, one of Europe\u2019s leading research centers. Through this partnership, Stargate aims to bring testing and development activities of its next-generation alkaline electrolysers to Finland. VTT\u2019s facilities offer the testing capacity needed to accelerate new product development, enabling Stargate to better serve the growing demand for large-scale, reliable hydrogen solutions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;VTT\u2019s capabilities allow us to validate our products thoroughly in real-world conditions,&#8221; <strong>K\u00fcngas <\/strong>adds. &#8220;The partnership will be an important part of our activities in Finland, where we\u2019ve already established a subsidiary and have multiple commercial projects under execution.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, Stargate was chosen as the alkaline electrolysis technology supplier for a\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/stargatehydrogen.com\/?page_id=2900\">MW-scale containerised<\/a><\/strong> electrolysis project by Fortum, and the first Stargate stacks have already reached Finland.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Stargate Hydrogen, this partnership is the first step in its ambitions to address the industrial large-scale hydrogen market. With the industry\u2019s demands increasing, Stargate is scaling up its alkaline electrolysers, to match the requirements of major industrial and utility customers.
