In view of fossil and mineral resources becoming more and more scarce the &#8220;International Congress Raw Material Shift &amp; Biomaterials&#8221; on the 3rd \/ 4th of December in the Maritim Hotel Cologne, Germany, is dedicated to this question.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-left: 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/news-images\/20080814-03\/08-08-14_rawm_cover.jpg\" alt=\"08-08-14_rawm_cover.jpg\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" \/>On the first day of the two day congress the changed framework for the raw material supply of the industry will be presented and discussed via experts coming from industry and research. The second day&#8217;s focus will be the new material group &#8220;Biomaterials&#8221;. Included in this group are biologically degradable and durable bioplastics, natural fibre composites and wood-plastic-composites (WPC) which are already being implemented in many industries today. The aim of the congress is to bring together decision makers of the producing industry and to name alternatives for the fossil and mineral resource basis by showing the best possible overview of the current resource situation.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers of the following companies and institutes will be attending the congress: Amorim Group, Bank Sarasin &amp; Cie AG, Bundesanstalt f\u00fcr Geowissenschaften und Rohstoffe &#8211; BGR, Cognis GmbH, European Bioplastics e.V., Evonik Industries AG und CLIB2021, F.O.
