This chemical can directly be applied as decalcifying agent in cleaning products and successfully replace fossil-based components, leading to more sustainable products. However, consumers might be hesitant to use cleaning products made from carbon emissions due to concerns about safety, health risks or&nbsp;efficacy. Additionally, the novelty of such products can lead to uncertainty and a preference for traditional, well-established brands.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To investigate consumer perspectives and identify further concerns, IZES launched an\u00a0<strong>online survey for inhabitants of Germany, the Netherlands or the United Kingdom<\/strong>. Your opinion and participation can provide valuable insights and foster the future development of greener consumer goods.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"tb-button\" data-toolset-blocks-button=\"929f972098177dfa106b1e4c73ebc2ba\"><a class=\"tb-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/waterproof-project.eu\/news-media\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i class=\"tb-button__icon\"><\/i><span class=\"tb-button__content\">Answer Survey<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>WaterProof (urban Waste and water Treatment Emission Reduction by utilizing CO\u2082 for the PROduction Of Formate derived chemicals) aims at closing the waste(water) carbon loop by creating a novel biorefinery concept converting CO\u2082 emissions from urban waste treatment facilities into valuable green consumer-products.
