Entry of Romania &#038; Bulgaria turns the European Union into net exporter of sunflowerseed<\/b>&#8230;\n<\/li>\n<li>For Jan\/Dec 2007 we now estimate palm oil output in 12 Central and South American countries to increase by 0.2 Mn T or 9% to 2.1 Mn T&#8230;\n<\/li>\n<li>Brazilian soybean crop prospects deteriorated considerably in the first 9 days of February, due to continuous heavy rainfall, preventing harvesting of mature soybeans and favouring the spreading of rust fungus&#8230;\n<\/li>\n<li>Combined soybean crushings and net exports of the USA, Argentina and Brazil showed an impressive increase by 4.0 Mn T or 6% from a year earlier to 70.2 Mn T in Sept\/Jan 2006\/07&#8230;\n<\/li>\n<li>World consumption of butter is expected to reach around 6.9 Mn T in Oct\/Sept 2006\/07, up 0.2 Mn T from a year earlier&#8230;\n<\/li>\n<li><b>The U.S. biodiesel production capacity reached 2.89 Mn T at the start of 2007 and may rise further to 6.6 Mn T by end-2007 and 8.3 Mn T by end-2008<\/b>&#8230;\n<\/li>\n<li>Russian pork &#038; poultry production increased sharply by 14% and 20%, respectively, in 2006.
