With the signing of the Responsible Care\u00ae&nbsp;global charter by J\u00e9r\u00e9my PESSIOT, AFYREN\u2019s co-founder and Managing Director, and Cyril LePretre, AFYREN NEOXY\u2019s Managing Director, AFYREN is committed to applying its key principles at both global and strategic levels, particularly in its industrial operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This strong commitment is fully aligned with the Company\u2019s global CSR and QHSE strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/afyren.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/DSC_7021-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13458\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.4997070884592854;width:759px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sylvie Latieule (Usine Nouvelle), Marie Zimmer (France Chimie), Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Fournet (France Chimie Grand Est), J\u00e9r\u00e9my Pessiot (AFYREN), Sandirne HIlgert (AFYREN NEOXY), G\u00e9raldine Gissy (France Chimie Grand Est) \u00a9 Franck Guyaumard.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Responsible Care\u00ae&nbsp;trophy awarded<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Following its recognition by the Grand Est region, AFYREN has been awarded the national Responsible Care\u00ae&nbsp;2024 trophy in the \u201cSocietal\u201d category for its innovative recruitment program \u201c<em>Sustainable industrial jobs for all<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed in partnership with P\u00f4le Emploi<a href=\"http:\/\/afyren.com\/en\/afyren-commits-to-responsible-care-and-receives-a-trophy-in-the-societal-category\/#_ftn1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a>, IUT St Avold, OPCO 2I and with the support of France Chimie Grand Est, this program was carried out to complete AFYREN NEOXY\u2019s production team, in a context of scarcity of profiles for industrial jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, it relied on the \u201cSimulation Recruitment Method\u201d (<em>M\u00e9thode de Recrutement par Simulation<\/em>), an original recruitment method proposed by P\u00f4le Emploi which focuses on candidates\u2019 learning abilities, over and above their experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a selection phase, candidates were trained on all subjects prior to taking up their positions, in particular Safety, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality, Environment, Electrical Habilitation and Material Handling Equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, this program led to the recruitment of some twenty employees (including 12 via the SRM method), who embodied AFYREN\u2019s values (commitment, agility and humility), and formed&nbsp;<strong>a high-performance, committed and diverse production team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Sandrine HILGERT, AFYREN NEOXY Human Resources Manager<\/strong>, comments: \u201cThe results have exceeded our expectations. The program enabled us to attract profiles with complementary and very varied skills and abilities, with a very balanced age range (from 24 to 54), diverse professional experiences sometimes far away from industry (service, transport, crafts\u2026) and two women. During the training period, which lasted several weeks, the 24 operators were able to forge strong bonds of mutual support and solidarity.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Over and above its effectiveness in terms of recruitment, this program promotes inclusion and diversity, and plays an active part in local, economic and social development by enabling unskilled people to return to employment and\/or change of career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An innovative HR policy, adapted to AFYREN\u2019s culture and development<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In a context of rapid growth for the company and its workforce (x5 in three years), the HR strategy is deployed to attract the best talents, structure the ways of working and ensure organizational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>L\u00e9a BASSEGODA, Human Resources Director and member of AFYREN\u2019s Executive Committee<\/strong>, explains:&nbsp;\u201cWe don\u2019t operate in the same way with 120 and 10 employees\u2026especially in a context of industrial scale-up.
