Jute experts from Bangladesh and India attended the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The experts emphasised the need for developing a mechanism to control access of inferior seeds to the market and recommended simplifying the procedure for seed import and export.<\/p>\n<p> They also underscored the need for dialogue between Bangladesh and India to improve quality of jute.<\/p>\n<p>Production, supply and distribution of certified and labelled seeds should follow strict protocol and a certification system must be established at appropriate levels, the experts said.<\/p>\n<p>(Vgl.
