This shared success enables&nbsp;tesa&nbsp;to increase product sustainability and reduce emissions. BMB acrylic monomers from BASF come with a 100% substitution of fossil with renewable raw materials, such as bio-naphtha or bio-methane, in the value chain. As a result, switching to BMB acrylic monomers enables&nbsp;tesa&nbsp;to reduce the CO\u2082 footprint of its products, without compromising on quality or performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Underscoring commitment to sustainability<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sustainability is part of&nbsp;tesa&#8217;s corporate strategy. The company pursues a science-based approach, with more than 600 scientists, engineers and product developers striving to establish innovative and more sustainable products and processes worldwide. However, all products still have the same chemical composition and deliver the same trusted levels of quality, performance, and versatility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;tesa&nbsp;plant in Hamburg is one of the plants that will produce&nbsp;tesa&nbsp;products with BMB acrylic monomers in the future to expand the use of these more sustainable raw materials.&nbsp;tesa&nbsp;plant Hamburg was awarded the ISCC PLUS certificate<sup>1<\/sup>in July 2023. The company also aims to win ISCC PLUS certification for additional sites around the world in the coming months. In this way,&nbsp;tesa&nbsp;aims to keep driving progress toward its sustainability strategy \u2013 and to continue its long tradition of improving products in a more sustainable way for more than 125 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1&nbsp; <sub>This certificate is presented by International Sustainability &amp; Carbon Certification (ISCC), a leading certification organization that supports sustainable supply chains.
