The agreement\u00a0anticipates\u00a0the delivery of\u00a0approximately\u00a022.5\u00a0to 37.5\u00a0million liters of eGasoline\u00a0per year from the future HIF Cabo Negro\u00a0eFuels facility,\u00a0to be located in\u00a0southern Chile, which represents between 30% and 50% of its annual production.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enap\u00b4s storage, distribution and refining capacity will allow\u00a0them\u00a0to\u00a0distribute this new\u00a0product using\u00a0its logistics structure in the country, in addition to exploring other collaboration opportunities\u00a0related\u00a0to future HIF\u00a0facilities in southern Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Cesar Norton,\u00a0President\u00a0and CEO\u00a0of HIF Global<\/strong>,\u00a0said \u201cThis public-private partnership strengthens\u00a0Chile\u2019s leadership position\u00a0in the fight against climate change\u00a0and\u00a0accelerates the\u00a0use\u00a0of\u00a0carbon-neutral eFuels right here in Chile.\u00a0Enap\u2019s\u00a0fuels distribution\u00a0capabilities\u00a0are material contributions toward\u00a0the success\u00a0of the first Chilean commercial\u00a0scale eFuels facility.\u00a0We are pleased that Enap\u00a0shares our vision\u00a0as we embark on the first step to convert approximately\u00a015,000\u00a0Chilean vehicles\u00a0per year\u00a0to carbon neutrality together;\u00a0and we anticipate growing the Chilean\u00a0market for synthetic\u00a0eGasoline produced from green hydrogen\u00a0with future expansions at our facilities in the Magallanes region.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Enap\u00a0has great potential to accelerate\u00a0Chiles decarbonization\u00b4s efforts\u00a0thanks to\u00a0its logistics capacity in the central and southern areas, its plan to develop enabling infrastructure for the green hydrogen industry,\u00a0and the development of new fuels in its refineries. All of\u00a0these elements\u00a0come together to\u00a0move forward\u00a0in the energy transition in a responsible and sustainable way from a technical and financial point of view&#8221; said <strong>Enap&#8217;s CEO, Julio Friedmann<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>eMethanol and eGasoline are carbon-neutral fuels made by combining green hydrogen and recycled CO<sub>2<\/sub>.<br>They are\u00a0chemically equivalent to\u00a0today\u2019s methanol and gasoline and can\u00a0therefore be\u00a0used in existing<br>infrastructure without any modifications to the engines. HIF Cabo Negro, which began its environmental assessment process a few weeks\u00a0ago, has a production capacity of 173,600 tonnes\u00a0per\u00a0year of eMethanol\u00a0and 75 million liters per year of eGasoline.
