especially compared to incineration in cement plants – and produces new raw materials such as pyrolysis oil, gas and recycled industrial carbon black from the waste used as input materials (recovered Carbon Black – rCB). Pyrum thus closes the recycling cycle and pursues a sustainable business model.

As a pioneer, Pyrum Innovations AG was the first company in the area of used tire recycling to receive REACH registration from the European Chemicals Agency ECHA in 2018 for the pyrolysis oil produced. This means that the oil is recognized as an official raw material that can be used in production processes.

In addition, Pyrum has received ISCC PLUS certification for the pyrolysis oil and rCB. Both products are therefore considered sustainable and renewable raw materials. Pyrum has also received ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system and ISO 9001 certification for its quality management. These successes were also recognized by international tire industry experts. Pyrum was honored in the Best Tire Recycling Innovation category at the inaugural Recircle Awards and nominated for the Grand Medium-Sized Enterprise Prize from the state of Saarland.

Pyrum Innovations AG (“Pyrum”, the “Company”, ISIN: DE000A2G8ZX8) together with the recycling company REMONDIS have announced the starting signal for planning a Pyrum plant for recycling used tires. A letter of intent was recently signed for this purpose. The plant will be located on a site owned by Weserport in Bremen, a subsidiary of REMONDIS sister company […]

The plant is supposed to have a recycling capacity of 20,000 tons of old tires per year, from which the raw material carbon black will be recovered

17143
16905,10416,22763,13298,14268
75,17535,22720
post-134944","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-recycling","tag-carbonblack","tag-circulareconomy","tag-pyrolysisoils","tag-rubber","tag-tires","supplier-basf-se","supplier-pyrum-innovations","supplier-remondis-group
["GET
