It has been used a material developed by the manufacturer of high-performance bioplastics that disintegrates in less than 3 months and is suitable for the packaging of food, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, among others.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

ADBioplastics<\/a>\u00a0has participated in the development of\u00a0compostable\u00a0single-use\u00a0packaging\u00a0for extra virgin olive oil together with a team led by the oils and dressings\u00a0producer and marketer\u00a0Capricho Andaluz, part of the\u00a0Borges International Group.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the manufacture of this single-use packaging<\/strong>, it has been used the bioplastic <\/strong>PLA-Premium<\/strong><\/a>, which has been developed by ADBioplastics, is 100% compostable industrial<\/strong> and is able to be disposed of in the organic bin. These single-use products<\/strong> will be marketed in the coming months, initially under the Capricho Andaluz and Borges brands, but with the plan to launch new references on the market<\/strong> in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This important innovation adds to the already consolidated sustainability strategy<\/strong> of the Borges group, which works daily to reduce its environmental impact, through the TecnoBi<\/strong> product line, which consists of grades specifically designed for processing by cast extrusion and blow moulding technologies<\/strong>. These grades are OK Compost<\/strong> certified by T\u00dcV Austria<\/strong>, which guarantees that, under industrial conditions, the material reaches the disintegration stage within a maximum of 3 months<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, this material is suitable for food contact<\/strong> in accordance with the applicable European legislation (FCM), allowing its use in packaging <\/strong>applications<\/strong><\/a> for food, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals<\/strong> and other products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other advantages<\/strong> of the material are its suitability to the requirements of the product to be packaged<\/strong> and the packaging line<\/strong> and its excellent performance<\/strong> compared to virgin PLA in the transformation processes thanks to its processability in conventional equipment<\/strong>. It also offers a substantial improvement<\/strong> in the mechanical properties<\/strong> of virgin PLA, achieving good finishes<\/strong> and optimum transparency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADBioplastics offers a packaging<\/strong> solution to meet national and European sustainability objectives<\/strong>, which imply that by 2030 all packaging on the EU market must be reusable or recyclable, including compostable, also known as organically recyclable, among the latter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
