Pauline Ruiz joined the nova-Institute in April 2020 and is part of both the Sustainability and the Technology &amp; Markets departments. With her background in polymer science, Pauline supports the nova-institute conducting ISO Life Cycle Assessments for renewable chemicals and materials. Moreover, technology scouting, market research and feedstock analysis, with a focus on bio-based and CO<sub>2<\/sub>-based chemistry, round her activities at nova.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context,\u00a0she currently takes part in several national and international research projects (e.g.,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.champion-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CHAMPION<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/waterproof-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WaterProof<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fnr.de\/presse\/pressemitteilungen\/archiv\/archiv-nachricht\/auf-der-suche-nach-dem-heiligen-gral-100-emissionsfreie-biobasierte-klebstoffe-fuer-tragende-holzwerkstoffe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TANIPU<\/a>) as well as in consulting for the industry.\u00a0Pauline has given national and international presentations, and is regularly involved in workshops on her focus topics. Beside her education, she collected several years of industrial experience in project management and research and development in companies from various fields including the coating and rubber industries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>M.
