PCR plastics \u2013 i.e. plastics which have already been used by consumers and then fed back into the recycling loop \u2013 as well as bio-based plastics are used. This conserves virgin resources and, above all, protects the environment by giving used materials a second life. All new items in the&nbsp;<strong>Wiltopia<\/strong>&nbsp;range naturally meet PLAYMOBIL\u2019s proven quality standards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From old fridges to new PLAYMOBIL sets<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>But how does that work exactly? PLAYMOBIL and recycling specialist Coolrec,&nbsp;a Renewi subsidiary,&nbsp;have produced a video to answer this. In a child-friendly way, it shows how the Wiltopia articles are made from the recycled plastics that Coolrec obtains from discarded refrigerators. Pretty cool and very good for the planet! In the spirit of a true transition towards a circular economy, materials that are no longer needed in the discarded refrigerators are liberated for a second life. The remaining plastics from the refrigerators are then shredded and processed into flakes. After advanced mechanical recycling techniques the flakes are turned into Coolrec granulate, which can be used to make just about anything! Like all the animals and playsets in the new PLAYMOBIL Wiltopia range and much, much more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Animal play and collecting fun<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wiltopia<\/strong>&nbsp;is all about growing up in a world where animals and nature are respected and protected.
