The second is that cooperation is fundamental for the necessary ecological transition, as a means to bring together ideas and knowledge from very different sectors. Our project is the synthesis of these two beliefs. In fact, we have joined forces and ideas to contribute, in a concrete way, to the reduction of the environmental impact of the textile and plastics industries. It is a small step compared to the challenges that lie ahead, but it is also the demonstration that something can be done, together.”

Raffaele Bonzagni, general manager of Kuku International Packaging stated: “I am proud of having created, together with Pierluigi Fusco Girard and with the unconditional support of both our companies, a new line of products that really contributes to the sustainability of our planet. The products of the Lincredible line can be already found in French and German supermarkets and we hope they will soon be used in Italy as well.”

Flax fibres can also be used as a component for other types of packaging to replace plastics: transparent windows for paper bags, internal reinforcement for paper packaging and paper adhesive tape, as well as crates for fruit and vegetables.

Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale along with Kuku International Packaging, a manufacturer of packaging materials, promote and spread the potential of flax fibres as a green alternative to plastic, to give shape to a product born from the earth that, in a short time, would return to the earth.
